Study plan and self-check
Work in a rhythm of read → observe → practise the conversation → hand unknowns to pre-sales. After six weeks, use the checklist below to see what you've learned.
Read Chapters 00–02; list your product lines and three competitors' English names.
Read Chapter 03; study 2 English datasheets and complete field cards.
Read Chapter 04; watch gripper and vision application videos and note the terms.
Read Chapter 05; join a pre-sales call and fill in a one-page RACI.
Read Chapter 06; diagnose 2 imaginary projects with the six questions.
Read Chapters 07–09; role-play a customer visit or email exchange with the question list. Component sellers: focus on Chapter 08.
Each week: 2–3 hours reading · 1–2 hours of video or site observation · 1 hour of conversation practice · 1 hour updating your term card. Optional at weekends: trade shows, reference lines, vendor webinars. From week 7: go deep on one process line, join a full proposal review, update your competitor comparison every quarter.
